The Birth of a Vision
In 2021, the Shanti Sajal Research & Charitable Trust was established to honor the legacy of Late Shanti Devi and her values of compassion and service. With a mission to bridge healthcare gaps in rural areas like Nawada, Bihar, the vision of a charitable hospital was born.
Turning Vision into Action
In 2022, the Trust took its first major step by acquiring land in Aruri Village for the hospital. Architectural planning and site preparation began, laying the groundwork for future construction.
Laying the First Stones
Construction officially began with the foundation stone laid and base structures rising. Despite hurdles like weather and limited resources, the Trust pressed forward with determination.
Rising Walls and Strengthening Hope
The hospital showed visible progress, with the ground floor completed and the first floor framework underway. Installation of basic facilities like water tanks and electrical systems began.
Building Hope, Brick by Brick
The hospital continues to take shape, with parts of the ground and first floor built. Interior work like plastering, flooring, and electrical setup is underway.
Construction Continues with Purpose
As we step into 2026, Shanti Sajal Research & Charitable Trust takes a powerful leap forward, transforming vision into reality. This year marks the beginning of a significant infrastructure expansion, with the construction of a dedicated facility aimed at providing better care, shelter, and support to the lives we serve. More than just a structure, this building represents safety, dignity and a long-term commitment to those who need it the most. With every brick laid, we move closer to creating a nurturing space for abandoned and physically or mentally challenged women, a place they can truly call home. 2026 is not just about growth in scale, but growth in purpose. A stronger foundation. A bigger promise. A future built with compassion

The next steps include completing the interiors, equipping the facility with essential medical infrastructure, and onboarding dedicated healthcare professionals. The ultimate goal is to make quality, compassionate healthcare a reality for the underserved, free from financial burden and full of dignity. From outpatient services to specialized treatments, from health camps to awareness programs, the vision is vast, rooted in love and service.
